Nanoparticles Surfactant / Nanopowder Dispersant

Research grade nanopowder dispersants / nanoparticles surfactants.
Please note: The below surfactant products can also be used for dispersing CNTs products.
The below surfactants / dispersants are based on our lab experimental results from numerous dispersants screened out for making nanoparticles dispersion products.

1) Research grade nanopowder dispersants / nanoparticles surfactants for aqueous dispersion products.
It is a clear viscous fluid
with a solid content of 45%it possesses the hydrogen bonding of its hydrophilic polyethylene oxide parts. It is an ideal surfactant for making aqueous dispersion products. Usage: 5-10wt% (max 20%) of material total weight including solvent. (Please note: you may need to choose special dispersants for some of nanopowder products in special solvents. Please review number 7 below.)

2) Research grade nanopowder dispersants / nanoparticles surfactants for alcohol solvent dispersion products.
It is a clear viscous fluid
with a solid content of 45%. It is suitable for solutions: trichloroethylene, DMF, ethylene glycol, ethyl ether, ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, ethylene dichloride. Usage: 5-10wt% (max 20%) of material total weight including solvent.

3) Research grade nanopowder dispersants / nanoparticles surfactants for ester solvent dispersion products.
It is a viscous fluid
with a solid content of 45%. The solvent is a mixture of butyl acetate and ethylene glycol butyl ether. Based on our lab experimental results from numerous dispersants screened out, it is particularly suitable for nanoparticles / nanopowder to be dispersed in ester solvents such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, and the liquid epoxy resin.. Usage: 5-10wt% (max 20%) of material total weight including solvent.

It is a amber viscous fluid
with a solid content of 75%. It is suitable for solutions: oil and t
oluene and organic solvents. Usage: 3wt% (max 5%) of material total weight including solvent.

5) Research grade nanopowder / nanoparticles powdery polymer dispersant.
It is a powdery polymer dispersant for water/ethanol/NMP/DMF/IPA/DMSO solvents and many other different solvents for making dispersion products.
Based on our lab experimental results from numerous dispersants screened out, the dispersant not only can greatly help nanopowder / nanoparticles to be fully dispersed, but also can prevent nanopowder / nanoparticles from settlling down in solution for longer time. Usage: 5-10wt% (max 10%) of material total weight including solvent..

It is a clear viscous fluid
with a solid content of 65%. It is suitable for ketone products kind solvents. Usage: 3wt% (max 5%) of material total weight

How to disperse nanopowder and nanoparticles?
1) Step 1, add surfactant / dispersant into solution first. Step 2, when surfactants / dispersants are fully dissolved into the solution, add nanopowder / nanoparticles. Step 3, finally, ultrasonicate the solution (this requires the customer's own experience).
2) During ultrasonic processing, the dispersion may heat up, therefore it is a good idea every 5min to stop, wait for solution to cool, defoam, before continuing. Total 30 minutes: 5min x 6 times.
3) At the end of the ultrasonication, centrifuge the dispersion solution, remove non-dispersed agglomerated particles. Centrifugal speed should be 2000r/min, centrifugation time of 30 min. After centrifugation, the dispersion will be stable for a certain time based on materials particle size, concentration, and molecular weight.
4) If you do not have ultrasonicate equipments, please use high speed mixers that also work very well (normally 20-40minuts)

Making Nanopowder / Nanoparticles Dispersion Product Equipments:
(1) Ultrasonic dispersion device: ideal for laboratory-scale, low-viscosity media to disperse Nanopowder; (2) Grinding dispersion equipment: suitable for large-scale nanopowder dispersion product, middle-viscosity media to disperse nanopowder; (3) Combination method: "first grinding, second ultrasonic dispersion " can be efficiently and stably to disperse nanopowder.
