Iron Oxide Nanopowder (gamma- Fe2O3) Aplication:
Coatings, special anti-corrosion, silicone, plastic, rubber, alloy, lithium batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, magnetic seal, wear-resistant materials, such as targeted drug.
Characteristics of Magnetic Iron Oxide:
Because the nanoparticles surface is very large, if no surface treatment, nano form can't exist and save. That is, the nanoparticles can not reveal the nano-properties. One particle is composed of thousands of single nanoparticle by adsorption of nano-particles with soft aggregation. In order to achieve the nano-features, we recommend to use:
1. If used in the aqueous phase, may use ultrasonic treatment to disperse, concentration of 10-20%, time 5-10 minutes.
2. If used in oil phase, may use high shear mixing to disperse.
3. If directly used as dry powder form, may use ball mill treatment to disperse.
4. The γ-Fe2O3 is resistant to a maximum temperature of 450 ° c, if it exceeds the temperature, the particles will lose magnetic property.
